Fredericia Bulk Terminal primarily handles grain, soy meal and wood pellets, but can also handle other bulk products such as salt and fertilizer.

The Port of Fredericia is one of the main ports for bulk cargo in Denmark. It is ISPS approved, and the draft alongside the berth is 13 meters.

Fredericia Bulk Terminal is GMP+ certified and can store 60,000 tonnes of grain. Another 40,000 MT of silo storage including a drying and a malting barley cleaning facility is ready by end of 2018. In addition, rental of near-by warehouses can bring the total storage capacity in Fredericia up to 140,000 MT.

The load and discharge rates are up to 900 MT/hour, 24 hours a day.  The terminal also provides services for board-to-board and board-via-pier transshipment.

Two licensed weighbridges are situated next to the berth.

Via a specialized silo, the terminal can fill 4 containers/hour of bulk commodities for export.

In addition, Fredericia Bulk terminal has an integrated bagging line. This highly automated and flexible bagging system fitted for virtually all bulk goods produces up to 1,200 bags/hour in sizes from 5 to 50 kilogrammes as well as a bigbag facility with a capacity of abt. 35 tonnes an hour
