Kalundborg Bulk Terminal is the first terminal in the Copenhagen Merchants Group, and was started as a joint venture between Copenhagen Merchants and Schultz Shipping. Today it is the biggest grain exporting terminal in Denmark. Furthermore, it handles imports of other products such as rapeseed, wood pellets, feedstuffs, fertilizer, salt, liquid bulk, general cargo and containers.

The Port is ISPS approved and the draft alongside the berth is 11.6 meters.

Kalundborg Bulk Terminal is GTP certified, and with a storage capacity of about 115,000 MT of grain, it is the largest facility of its kind in Denmark.

The terminal offers a fully equipped lab and licensed weighbridges on location.

The load and discharge rates are up to 900 MT/hour, 24 hours a day.  The terminal also provides services for board-to-board and board-via-pier transshipment.

The warehouses also include drying facilities for grain and an integrated bagging and sieving line. This highly automated and flexible bagging system is fitted for virtually all bulk goods and produces more than 1,000 bags/hour in sizes from 5 to 40 kilograms.

Finally, Copenhagen Merchants Group is the co-owner of two other sites at the Port: Kalundborg Tank Terminal consisting of 5 tank farms with a combined capacity of 38,000 cubic metres and additional 17,000 square metres warehousing for general cargo.
The CM Group company, Schultz Stevedoring, also handles the container terminal at the Port.
