Grenaa Bulk Terminal is a highly specialized wood pellet handling terminal, but it also handles other bulk commodities such as grain, fertilizer and salt.
The Port of Grenaa is ISPS approved and the draft alongside the berth is 10.3 meters.
Grenaa Bulk Terminal has a warehouse capacity of approximately 35,000 tonnes of bulk and 5,000 MT of pallet goods. The terminal also offers 2 licensed weighbridges.
In addition, the terminal has screening equipment for incoming wood pellet cargo. The immediate segregation of pellets in diameters and fines as well as our 12-silo facility secure fast loading of bulk trucks.
FLEXIBLE & INTEGRATED BAGGING LINES
Grenaa Bulk terminal also has an automated and flexible screening and bagging line. This integrated bagging system produces up to 1,000 bags/hour (5-40kg). In addition there is a smaller bagging line that produces up to 800 bags/hour (2-10kg) and a bucket line that produces 600 buckets/hour (5-15 kg).
The Grenaa bagging facilities complement the other CM Group bagging lines in Aarhus, Fredericia, Kalundborg and Ystad.
Grenaa Bulk Terminal was acquired by Copenhagen Merchants and Fredericia Shipping in 2010.
